In this video sugunammama is giving a hair bath (tala bobba) to my Tatamma one week before she left to Jejaa.

My Tatamma and Sugunammamma

My Tatamma and Suguna Ammamma went to Jejaa last week.

                                    

My Tatamma

My Tatamma is my father's Grandmother and she was 89 years old. She was the oldest in our family.

My Suguna Ammamma is my father's Attayya and my Tatamma's daughter.

I loved them both a lot.

This is a picture of me when I was a baby with my Tatamma in Dallas.

My Tatamma's house was in Plot No. 7 next to Tatayya and Bamma's house. There was a gate between the houses. I used to like going to my Tatamma's house.
When we were in SMR, she also came to our house.

My Suguna Ammamma

My Suguna Ammamma lived in Singapore City in a garden house.

From her house, we could see the garden.

I went to her house some times. She also came to see us a lot.
In the photo, she is wearing a blue and red sarees and hugging my other Ammammas, who are also her sisters.

When my Tatamma was not well, Suguna Ammamma took very good care of her. She had a lot of energy.

I and Divya will love and miss our Tatamma and Suguna Ammamma a lot.

I and Divya are learning skating at Playland Skate Center in Austin.
Mr Michael is teaching us.
We have been learning for the last 3 weeks.
I am getting really good at it and Divya is also better now.
I am going to be the best skater!

My friend the Alien from Mars

I wrote a story about a Alien who is my friend.
It took me to Mars to hide and I saw Earth from above in space.
I drew a map for you if you haven't seen Earth from up in space.
Earth is blue and Mars is red.
Martians live on Mars.

The Missing Knight

I gave a number in the story which was my fathers number so my mother made me tudupu it off in red color.

The RiverWalk Marroit is there - we went there one time.

My goal is to be a KungFu Black Belt 7th degree.

Divya is also a White Belt now but she does not have her uniform yet so we didnt take a picture.

Snow Day!!

Today it snowed in Austin!!!!
So we had no school today!
We dressed up well and went outside to play.
It was too much fun!
We couldnt make any snowmen because the snow was too soft and not packable.
But we had a snowfight and we lay down in the snow and made snow angels.

It is very cold today!

Today is the coldest day in 15 years in Texas.
The temprature is 27 degrees F.
Yesterday night was 17 degrees F.
In America, we see temprature in F and not C so Farenheit not Celsius.
Our school started late today because of the cold day and because of power cuts.
On the sidewalk, they put rock salt so you dont slip on ice and fall down and break your legs and hands.
I didnt see snow yet even though it is so cold.

Groundhog Phil did not see his shadow yesterday in Pensylvania so it will be spring soon and we will go canoeing on Lady Bird Lake.

My 102nd Day Shirt

On Friday, we have a 102nd day Fashion Show in school because we are 2nd graders.
My mother made me a TShirt with 102 buttons and animals with "Aniruddha" name to wear for my fashion show.
I have to walk like a movie hero for my fashion show.

My teacher told me mine was the best shirt in the whole class!

SpongeBob SquarePants pouch for iPod and iPhone and iPad

Today I sewed a SpongeBob pouch with a real needle and real thread.
You can put your iPod and iPhone in it.
They gave me a sheet to tell me how to sew it and it was very hard work but I did it nicely.
My mother showed me how to make the knots and everything.
She sewed the mouth because it was very hard.
I sewed the body and eyes and everything.
Next time, I want to make a dinosaur.

I made a purse today

I learnt to lace and sew today.
I got a purse project from Michaels and sewed with a plastic needle and yarn.
My purse is very pretty.
My mother helped me but I did it myself only.

If you come to my house, I will also make you a purse.

My 100 Day TShirt

Today was my 100th day in school.
We ate a snack with 100 things in it,
We walked 100 steps,
We played a 100 Hershey Kisses' game and
We ate a 100 number cupcake.

My Amma also made me a 100 things TShirt with 100 buttons and Dora diamonds.
It says "Divya Uma" on it.

My friend Lucy wore a shirt with diamonds and paint.
My friend Campbell wore a shirt with dog footprints and a dog on her shirt.
