A Memory with Kishore Uncle by Aniruddha

A Memory with Kishore Uncle

Written by Aniruddha

I have a person I admire a lot, and you should meet him. It is my uncle who lives in Houston. His name is Kishore Uncle. He is a very nice person, and he is awesome at sports just like me. He is also very fond of me and when we meet, we talk a lot about all the stuff that is happening in my life and at school. We also play sports like football and basketball. He is funny and makes lots of jokes with me.
On our last trip to Houston to visit Kishore Uncle, and Anupama Aunty, in July of 2012, we had a very fun time. Kishore Uncle had just moved from his big old house to a new apartment. We got to see the new apartment. It is right next to a Central Market store. We went there to eat sandwiches, which were really delicious.
On that trip, we also got to watch the Olympics on cable TV. On Friday, we watched the Olympics Opening Ceremony. The first event we watched was swimming, in which, my favorite swimmer Michael Phelps won the most Gold Medals by any athlete in Olympics history. Then, we saw some Table Tennis games. And we also watched the USA Team win Gymnastics in the Olympics. We watched a lot of TV, and had a lot of fun.
On Sunday, I went with Kishore Uncle and my father to the Williams Waterwall park in Houston. My sister, mom, and aunt went shopping in the mall. Williams Waterwall is a beautiful and gigantic waterfall. We took lot of pictures with the waterfalls. I ran a race like Usain Bolt– my father and Kishore Uncle timed how fast I could touch the opposite wall and run back. Then the three of us played football with my Tony Romo football.
This was the most enjoyable time I had with one of my favorite people, Kishore Uncle. I hope to meet him during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and get to talk and play with him again.
